Jealous Heart, Forbidden Touch

His chest tightened the moment his father brought home the new wife. The young man watched the kind and beautiful woman settle into their home and felt jealousy rise fast.

Soft conversations in the kitchen only made the tension worse. He could not stop staring whenever she smiled or moved around the house.

Without warning one quiet afternoon the boundary broke. Desire overpowered reason and he pulled her close, crossing the line that should never have been crossed.

Heavy silence filled the rooms afterward. The family he once knew began to crack under the weight of what they had done.
